Terms of Service
These terms apply when a school, or anyone the school invites, uses YurSchool, the school management platform provided by YURschool, House no. 291, Sahadatpura, Mau, Uttar Pradesh, India ("we", "us"). By using YurSchool you agree to them. A school that has signed a separate written agreement with us is bound by that agreement where it differs from these terms.
1. The service
YurSchool lets a school keep its records and run its daily work in one place: admissions, attendance, timetables, fees, notices, messages to parents and the other modules included in the school's plan. YurSchool is still being built and tested. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and features may change.
2. Accounts
- A school's administrators decide who gets an account and which role each person has.
- Keep your password and one-time codes to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account until you tell your school or us that it has been misused.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. The school's responsibilities
- The school must have a lawful basis, and where needed the consent of parents or lawful guardians, for the personal data it enters, and must keep it accurate.
- The school decides who may see which records and must give access only to people who need it.
- The school must send WhatsApp and other messages only to people who have agreed to receive them from the school, and must follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta's terms for the WhatsApp Business Platform.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use YurSchool to:
- break any law, or harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- send spam, advertising nobody asked for, or content that is unlawful, abusive or misleading;
- access data or accounts you are not allowed to see, or try to get around security controls;
- overload, disrupt, copy or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Fees
Plan fees and messaging credits are those shown when the school buys them, or those agreed in writing with the school. Messaging credits are used when messages are sent.
6. Data
A school's records belong to the school. We process them to provide YurSchool, as our Privacy Policy explains, and we do not sell them or use them for advertising. A school can ask for a copy of its data, or for its deletion, at any time; see our data deletion instructions.
7. Suspension and ending
We may suspend an account or a school's access if these terms or Meta's WhatsApp policies are broken, or to protect other users or the service. We will tell the school why unless the law or an urgent risk prevents it. A school can stop using YurSchool at any time.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to a school is limited to the fees the school paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date at the top of this page and tell schools about important changes before they take effect.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Mau, Uttar Pradesh.
